Manifesto: a public declaration of intentions, opinions, objectives, or motives

To me, a manifesto is a declaration of who you are, what you stand for, what you're all about, and what makes your skin tingle.
A manifesto should be your FYI to the world, your declaration of this-is-who-I-am-so-you're-just-gonna-have-to-suck-it-up-and-deal-with-it-so-enjoy.
But, most importantly, your manifesto should be a love letter to yourself.

How does one create a Personal Manifesto? Easy peasy in one-two-threesy!
1. Jot down a bunch of ideas about what in life is important to you. These thoughts don't need to be particularly eloquent or specific, you're just brainstorming here! For example, you might scribble: "animals", "I want to be happy every day", "everyone has a beautiful body", "be kind".
2. Now turn your brainstormed notes into more specific, refined ideas, if you need to (you might love them exactly the way they are already!). Turn "animals" into "Animals are some of my dearest friends". Turn "I want to be happy every day" into "Indulge in happiness daily". "Everyone has a beautiful body" becomes "Every body, in all colors and shapes and sizes, are to be reveled at". And "Be kind" might be absolutely perfect the way it is, or you might want to embellish upon it to include "Be kind to all you meet" or "Be kind, especially when you don't want to be". You can even combine the statements that fit well together. Use language that you're comfortable with--it's YOUR voice that we want to hear, after all!
3. Decide on a core set of five or six ideals...or, because this is YOUR manifesto, choose only two. Or keep all fifteen you brainstormed! This is YOUR declaration of life, baby cakes, so please don't be afraid to share your splendid, magical self with the world.
Finally, the BEST part: set your declaration free out into the universe!
Record your manifesto in your happiness journal, or write it nice and big on a poster to hang on your wall. Jot it down on your school notebook or in your daily planner. Write it on a business card to keep in your wallet. Blog about it! Memorize it, if you dare.

LIVE IT.
